First up is Walter Hill’s iconic cult classic THE WARRIORS (1979), starring Michael Beck, James Remar, Deborah Van Valkenburgh, David Patrick Kelly, Dorsey Wright, Brian Tyler, and Thomas G. Waites. When a charismatic gang leader is murdered during a massive gathering of New York’s street gangs, the Warriors are falsely blamed and forced to fight their way home through a hostile city filled with rival crews determined to destroy them. Featuring unforgettable characters, stunning nighttime cinematography, and one of the most influential visions of urban survival ever put on film, THE WARRIORS remains a landmark of 1970s cult cinema.
