AMERICAN NINJA (1985) / RIVERBEND (1989) Double Feature

On Saturday, November 15, the Gap Theatre and Reelblack present an action-packed powerhouse Sam Firstenberg/Steve James double feature on 35mm! First up, the Cannon Films classic AMERICAN NINJA (1985), where Michael Dudikoff and Steve James team up to deliver some no-nonsense martial arts mayhem, deadly espionage, and wall-to-wall ninja action. Then, don’t miss a very rare screening of the long-unavailable RIVERBEND (1989), a hard-hitting, socially charged action drama starring James as a Vietnam vet leading a resistance against small-town corruption. If you love 80s action, then this is an afternoon of fists, fury, and justice that fans don’t want to miss!
