1st and 2nd place winners are published in an anthology by Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood Publishing

and what category (published or non-published) you wish to be entered.
Deadline to enter is 11:59 pm on March 26th. Limited spaces per genre.
Come experience the creative impulse that Writing in 150 gives — so many writers in the past have commented how the atmosphere and the time limit are really inspiring and have helped them produce some of their best work!
This is a writing contest open to Published and Non-Published writers. You may write in one of four genres: Fiction, Non-Fiction, Poetry/Spoken Word and Songwriting. You will have 150 minutes — 2 1/2 hours — to complete a maximum of 1000 word written piece.
All Fiction, Non-Fiction and Poetry/Spoken Word contestants write on their own laptops on site, at the Winchester Public Library.
Song-writing contestants work at home until the end of the competition at 1:30.
After the writing and submissions are completed we will move to the North Dundas Business Centre 457 Main Street, Winchester, ON, Canada, K0C 2K0 - where we will meet on the 2nd fooor and share our written work!! The public is invited to attend this portion of the event.
Each genre must have at least two competitors in each genre by category.
If you wish to enter but do not have transportation let us know and you can write from home.
What is better than having a good time? Knowing the money you spent goes to charity!
