Welcome to Winchester Revolt: A Bike Ride Around Historic Winchester
Live free and ride through history!
Join the Winchester-Frederick County VA250 Committee for a bicycle tour through the history of Winchester. While focusing on the roles played by local Patriots during the American Revolution, we will visit sites that predate European settlement all the way up to the early 20th century.
The route is seven miles long with seven stops along the way. All of the stops will have a narrator, often reenactors in period garb, to talk about why each site is important.
The date is Saturday, June 7, rain or shine. Check-in will begin at 9:30am. The start time is 10am, and should conclude by 12:30pm. Both the start and finish will be at Our Health, located at 329 N. Cameron Street. Participants must be 18 and older. Pre-registration is required with a $10 fee. The event is limited to 40 riders.
