The Randolph County Asylum, also known as the Randolph County Infirmary, was built in the late 1800s to house society’s most vulnerable, those who were poor, elderly, disabled, mentally ill, or simply had nowhere else to go. Like many county asylums of the era, care often blurred into confinement, and survival was prioritized over comfort. 

Today, the building remains one of Indiana’s most quietly unsettling historic locations.

Guests and investigators have reported footsteps in empty hallways, voices and whispers when no one else is present, shadow figures, and strong emotional responses in certain rooms. Some areas feel calm. Others feel heavy. The asylum has a way of letting you know when you’ve entered a space with a story to tell.

This overnight paranormal investigation is designed for both beginners and seasoned investigators.

What This Experience Includes
This is a full overnight investigation with Eerie Excursions leading the night while also allowing guests the freedom to investigate independently if they choose.
- Guided investigation sessions led by experienced investigators with over a decade in the field
- Free-roam option to explore and investigate at your own pace
- A small group atmosphere limited to only 20 guests
- Investigation only tickets are from 7pm until 2am
- Sleepover-style accommodations are from 7pm - 10am the next morning. Guests must bring their own bedding, but there are many areas you can choose to sleep. There are many beds onsite. But, if you prefer you can bring an air mattress or cot.

This is not a jump-scare event. It is a real paranormal investigation experience. 

It’s about spending uninterrupted time inside a historic asylum, listening carefully, and letting the location reveal itself on its own terms. Many guests are surprised by how reflective, emotional, and meaningful these investigations can be. This is the kind of experience people talk about long after it’s over.
