It will include opportunities to talk to teachers who have recently participated in School Direct (or school-based training) and to ask questions from experienced teachers about their career pathway so far. Information will be given about applying to be a trainee teacher with Winchester Schools Training Alliance. WTSA is an alliance of 22 schools in the Winchester area and the University of Winchester. Trainees will undertake school-based training, along with one day per week at the Outstanding rated University of Winchester in order to achieve a PGCE/QTS. Placements are organised via the alliance schools and we aim to give an exceptional and well-rounded training experience."
