Miss Honorary Fire Chief Contest

This year will mark the 78th In-Town and Out-of-Town Honorary Fire and Rescue Chiefs Contest, one of the longest-running events of the Shenandoah Apple Blossom Festival®. Girls between the ages of 16-21 are chosen by their Fire & Rescue Company to compete. The program consists of an evening-wear section, personal statements by contestants, and a panel of judges.

The In-Town winner accompanies her Fire & Rescue Company in leading off the 1st Division of the World’s Largest Firefighters Parade. The Out-of-Town winner will accompany her Fire & Rescue Company to lead off the 2nd Division of the Firefighters’ Parade at the Shenandoah Apple Blossom Festival on Friday, May 1st.
