On February 28th, eldritch space horror and dramatic romance collide here at Four Color Fantasies with the release of Vesper Doom's "Metropolis Down!" We will have Vesper here signing from noon until 3pm... and you're invited!
We've been big fans of Vesper's horror novels (also big fans of them having the coolest name ever), and we can't wait to share their newest work with you all!
Metropolis Down is a book of unknown horrors in the vast expanse of space, and the complicated love life of two men working on a massive city-ship, the Neo-Tokyo. What comes of their miscommunication? What happens when your future is interrupted by heartbreak and a slew of terror from the void? Will they even survive this trip long enough to make up? After reading the Advanced Reader Copy (because I'm fancy, and everyone's favorite) I can tell you I am already HOOKED on this eerie space adventure.
Vesper Doom (she/they) sits at the intersection of Autistic experience, Queer love, and the Horror of the Unknown. She lives west of DC with her spouse and cats.
Also written by Doom is "The Binding of Bloom Mountain" as well as curating "Astrophobia," an anthology. Both books are also available here at Four Color!
