His "home group" is the Friends of Harold Parker, and he can often be found leading their weekly Wednesday morning outings (plug!). His greatest enjoyment comes from the ever-changing "symphony of textures" underfoot across the four seasons, as well as contributing data to Open Streetmap and generally helping endorse and care for our precious outdoor resources.About the Walk: Join us to explore the "green trail" aka mountain-bike loop, along with parts of the "blue" Cross Fells trail, as we loop around the trio of reservoirs. This route is a little over 6 miles, of medium difficulty, with mostly wide and often graveled trails. There's no reason for any hurry to complete it, so a relatively "leisurely" pace is fine! We may even spot some algae in the few wetlands we'll pass by.We'll meet at the "secret dead end" at the end of North Border, which Google semi-incorrectly identifies as "86 North Border Rd, Winchester, MA 01890" but makes Eventbrite place the parking in the right spot. Come in via Chisholm Rd and drive all the way up the hill to the turnaround at the end to park!
