We are nature. Herbs are nature. Come and get real: re-rooting and remembering how to work in harmony with the land, with natural ingredients that are good for the body.  

Learn the basics of making highly effective natural, organic, cosmetic creams, body butters and balms that are safe and extremely beneficial for the skin.

?‍? Led by our qualified Medical Herbalist with 24 years’ experience
and a diploma in Natural Organic Skincare
? £45 (includes all materials for everything you make + take home)

What you’ll make:
- Two cosmetic creams :  a moisturiser and an anti-ageing cream  playfully known as 'eternal youth cream' (vegan).
-One body butter (vegan).
- Three lip balms – with the option of beeswax or a vegan alternative.

You’ll learn:

-The difference between oil-based cosmetics (balms, salves, ointments) and water-based products (creams, lotions).
-How to use oils, waxes, butters, hydrosols, emulsifiers, preservatives, antioxidants and essential oils.
-Step-by-step methods to design and create your own skincare.

A full set of workshop notes will be provided, including detailed descriptions of all the ingredients used. No previous experience is required – everything is explained from the very beginning.

Arrive from 9:30 for tea, coffee and biscuits and workshop commences at 10:00 and finishes around 15:00 with a break for a lunch - please bring your food.

Only 6 places : email admin@gauntshouse.com to book your spot. Available on a first come, first serve basis. Future workshops can be facilitated to meet your intrest.
