When you arrive at 10:30am, you will be introduced to the kitchen and invited to plan and cook a healthy three-course vegetarian meal consisting of a starter, main dish, and a dessert. The pantry ingredients and fresh produce are provided through surplus donations and every week the ingredients will be different which means lots of room for creativity.Afterwards, your team will serve your masterpiece to the members of the local community from 1:00pm. The volunteering session is expected to finish around 3:00pm.Want to know when, where, and how? 🗓️⏰Our Tooting Community Canteen operates on Fridays 10:30am-3pm from Rookstone Road, London SW17 9NQ. To volunteer with us, please choose your available date(s) and book your ticket via Eventbrite.Upon confirmation, you will receive a volunteering information sheet which includes the location, timings, and job descriptions. All volunteers will be sent a Kitchen Safety Quiz and a Food Hygiene video which we encourage you to engage with prior to your selected date.Important informationWe often host corporate volunteers at our canteens as a team. If a date is not shown it is because we have a group coming together that day.
