Good Morning Wimberley Texan Family!! We are in the middle of finally forming the Wimberley Texan Baseball Alumni Association. As we work through all the details of the Association, we first wanted to get the info out for this year's Alumni Weekend. After meeting with Coach Locke, Alumni weekend this year will be on April 10th (Friday) & 11th (Saturday). Friday night Wimberley Texan Varsity Baseball plays Fredericksburg at Home. Thoughts are to have as many Alumni players and coaches attend the Friday night varsity game and then play Alumni Game the next day (Saturday). I've tagged as many people as I could, but I know I'll be missing a ton and others. Please help spread the word if you know any Alumni. Like I mentioned, we will be forming a Wimberley Texan Baseball Alumni Association. This will have its own facebook page and other social media outlets. After a Historic season last year, no better time than now to bring as many former players and coaches back to keep our tradition alive. The association will allow us to keep up with all Alumni and hopefully offer some fun events each year. Please Please help spread the word!!! Below are the dates. The dates are set and the event times are tentative. More info to come!!
ALUMNI WEEKEND 2026- April 10th & 11th
APRIL 10th (Friday)- Wimberley Texan Varsity Baseball vs Fredericksburg @ Home. Time TBD (evening game)
APRIL 11th (Saturday)- Wimberley Texan Baseball Alumni Game. There will be Home Run Derby prior to the game. For now, the Home Run Derby starts at 11 am with Game to Follow.
This year's game will be Alumni vs Alumni. To keep the game moving, we will either have a pitching machine throwing to batters or someone throwing behind an L screen and running it live . I'm sure if there's any Alumni Pitchers that want to throw an inning we can make that happen.
APRIL 11th AFTER PARTY- There will be a get together following the game probably in the evening. TBD
