Equisoul Mind and Body is honored to welcome Michelle Berling and her mission, Trail Rides Across America. 🇺🇸🐴
Michelle is a retired first responder with over 27 years of service as a firefighter, paramedic, police officer, and SWAT negotiator. After battling PTSD, she found healing through horses — and now she’s on a cross-country mission to raise awareness and support equine therapy centers like ours.
Starting in September, Michelle will travel the country with her horse, Mad Jack, service dog Ryker, and donkey Nelson — stopping at rescues to host trail rides, community events, and panel discussions focused on PTSD, healing, and hope.
We're proud to be one of her stops. Join us for this special event to hear Michelle’s story, connect with others, and support those who serve — and struggle — in silence.

A personal note from our president, Danielle:
“This mission is incredibly close to my heart. My younger sister is a retired deputy sheriff whose life was forever changed by PTSD. She lost her career, her family, and her sense of safety. I’ve seen firsthand the devastation this invisible wound can cause — and I’ve also seen how healing and connection through horses can make a difference. We are honored to stand with Michelle on this journey.”
