- **Event Description**: Come see Wilton briefly featured in The Work in Progress, a hopeful documentary about listening to each other.About this EventThe Work in Progress comes home to Wilton!Earlier this year, filmmaker Ian Cheney and his crew came to the historic Wilton Candy Kitchen to film conversations with local residents as part of The Work in Progress, a documentary about America at a moment of profound uncertainty, and the power of simply listening to one another.The filmmakers traveled to six states, including Iowa, bringing together 100 people from different generations and communities to sit down, ask questions, and have real conversations. Wilton makes a brief appearance in the finished film, alongside communities from across the country.Now the film is coming back to Wilton! Following the screening, director Ian Cheney will share stories about making the film and take questions from the audience.
