From there we’ll continue into the Heald Tract and visit The Rocks, a scenic clump of glacial erratics that would provide a great setting for a picnic, a photo session, or perhaps even a mysterious murder…

Directions: From the library, take Rte. 31 south to Rte. 101. Turn right onto 101. At Sherman’s Pit Stop, turn left onto Temple Rd., bear left at the fork to pass over a bridge, then turn left onto Town Farm Rd. The preserve is on the left near the top of the hill. Plan to arrive at the Preserve at 9:30 a.m.
