POPPING WorkShoP

This high-impact Popping workshop dives into the foundational techniques and funk-driven roots of this iconic street style—where precision meets swagger and musicality is everything. Dancers will explore core elements like hits, waves, tutting pathways, grooves, and texture play, building control through the muscles while staying deeply connected to the music.

Expect drills that sharpen timing, combinations that challenge coordination, and freestyle prompts that unlock your individual style. We’ll focus on contrast—tight vs. loose, sharp vs. smooth—so you can fully embody the dynamics that make Popping so electrifying to watch and even better to dance.

More than technique, this workshop is about presence. It’s about owning your movement, riding the beat, and performing with intention. Whether you’re brand new to Popping or refining your foundation, you’ll leave with stronger control, deeper musical awareness, and a fresh spark in your freestyle.

All levels welcome. $35 after March 10.
