NC Statewide Star Party

Blast off with us for an evening of cosmic exploration at the North Carolina Statewide Star Party at the Imagination Station Science and History Museum!

Join us for a family-friendly night celebrating space, the Moon, and humanity’s journey beyond Earth. We’ll feature a collection of hands-on science activities, all inspired by this year’s theme, “Mission to the Moon.” Explore lunar science, space exploration, and the challenges of traveling beyond our home planet through interactive stations designed for curious learners of all ages.

Weather permitting, enjoy live telescope viewing with the Raleigh Astronomy Club, and meet amazing community partners including Solar System Ambassadors Liz & Nick, the Wilson Youth Council, and the Civil Air Patrol, Tar River Composite Squadron, who will help bring space science to life throughout the evening.

Whether you’re a budding astronaut or a lifelong space fan, this FREE event is your chance to look up, get hands-on, and imagine the future of lunar exploration!
