Lace up your sneakers and kick off Memorial Day with some fun! Serious runners, casual competitors, and enthusiastic walkers are all invited to the WCA’s 18th annual Black Fly Blitz 5K Run/Walk, starting at 9 a.m. on Monday, May 25, in scenic Wilmot Flat. The loop course is rolling yet friendly, flat-ish, at least by New Hampshire standards 😉

Online registration is open until 5 p.m. on Saturday, May 23. Entry is free for kids 11 and under, and $25 for participants ages 12 and up through May 23. Prefer to sign up on race day? Registration will be available, with a $5 increase for ages 12 and up. Want to snag a Blitz t-shirt? Shirts are $10, with a deadline of April 30 to guarantee your size.

Race-day check-in and registration begin at 7:30 a.m. under the tent on the Wilmot Town Green, located at the intersection of Kearsarge Valley and Village Roads.

For everyone’s safety (and sanity), please leave your four-legged running partners at home 🐾
