Bruce Hornsby

Bruce Hornsby has built one of the most diverse, collaborative, and adventurous careers in contemporary music. Drawing from a vast wellspring of American musical traditions, the singer/pianist/composer/bandleader has created a large and accomplished body of work and employed a vast array of stylistic approaches. Throughout this period, Hornsby has maintained the integrity, virtuosity and artistic curiosity that have been hallmarks of his work from the start.

The Delaware Symphony Orchestra

Established over 100 years ago, the Delaware Symphony Orchestra (DSO) is among the premier orchestras in the U.S. and the only professional orchestra in Delaware. The DSO presents standard orchestral and contemporary repertoire in its Mainstage Series as well as a smaller, more intimate Musicians' Series during its season. Along with educational programs and other special events, the DSO attracts audiences of all ages and experience throughout the First State and Brandywine Valley.

The Delaware Symphony Orchestra is supported, in part, by a grant from the Delaware Division of the Arts, a state agency, in partnership with the National Endowment for the Arts. The Division promotes Delaware arts events on www.DelawareScene.com.
