The walking tour will invite guests to walk in the footsteps of Claire and Jamie Fraser from the global phenomenon book and Starz TV series, "Outlander." Using the North Carolina history that is laced into the romance series, guests will be able to learn about the Colonial Wilmington that real Scottish Highlanders like Claire and Jamie found when they arrived in America in the 1770s. 

The walking tour will depart from the Burgwin-Wright House (224 Market Street) at 9 a.m. and run 90 minutes, stopping at about a dozen places downtown. Please wear comfortable shoes and bring water to drink. (The May 9 date starts at 12pm.)
