Bluegrass and brunch -- what could be better? The Wilmington Bluegrass Instructor Band is a band formed from the instructors of the new Wilmington Bluegrass School. Aiming to get more people, young and old, playing bluegrass music, the Wilmington Bluegrass School offers individual lessons (currently virtual) and regularly occurring jams. The band features Marshall Brown, Jones Smith, Wes Chappell, and Perry Hewlett. These great musicians can be seen around town playing in their bands the Smokey Dunes, the Folkstone String Band, Massive Grass, and Masonboro Sound.
