- **Event Description**: Join us for this ingathering service and an Open House for anyone in the broader community. On this Sunday, we will celebrate the launch of a new congregation year through a simple “Gathering of the Waters” ritual, special music and a message about being and becoming a house of hope and healing.

For the Gathering of Waters ritual, you may want to bring water from a special place that you visited this summer, even your own home, or we will also have water available. We will gradually add water that represents the Wellsprings of Renewal, Life storms, Renewal, and Streams of Justice to a common bowl. Children will join us for the first part of this service before going to their own programs. 

Congregations are one of the few places where generations come together to learn and guide one another throughout their lives. The inspiration of the message comes from the title of a poem by Antoine de Saint-Exupery’s poem, “Generation to Generation.” How can we continue to become a house of hope and healing.

We will have some light refreshments following the service. Please bring a snack also, if you would like.
