CCAC’s stocked bar, a lineup of talented local musicans, and a venue like no other are all you need to take your Thursday evenings to the top.    Concerts are totally free to attend if you bring your own chair, or reserve a seat around CCAC’s fire pit tables for $10.    

Hher is a project created out of curiosity and spite in 2018.  After a few years of performing on vibraphone and keyboard with the local instrumental avaunt-rock trio Us, Today, Kristin Agee, one of the founding members of that band, decided to try writing music that she could perform as one person, with just a vibraphone, sampling pad, and a looping pedal.   She had a small backlog of short melodic ideas, phrases, and grooves that weren't being utilized with the group that became the starting point for many of the ideas that became Hher's set.  Based in minimalism and dissonant soundscapes, Hher strives to be music that would fit best bouncing off the empty halls of an abandoned mall, or at a gala for high class socialites hosted by a local modern art museum.  When Kristin is not performing as Hher (which she often is not), she teaches music at Musicologie Anderson, a studio she co-owns, and spends quality time raising her two beautiful children. Kristin is an active free-lance artist, having performed with regional orchestras, musical theater productions, and many local original and cover bands, and has been featured in national publications such as The Wall Street Journal, Tom Tom magazine, and her original music has been featured on NPR.      

In the event of inclement weather, the concert will move to the McKillip Theater on the third floor of CCAC's building. Staff monitor the weather closely throughout the day of the concert and make a final decision in the afternoon. If the concert must move indoors, we will share that information on this page, on our socials, and with those who have reserved a spot.  $10 for fireside seat
