Beginning Portraiture

A great class for beginners to learn portraiture. We'll study the facial features, how to construct a convincing head and how to position the features within it. The class will encompass value, color mixing, brush work, edge quality, and atmospheric perspective, or how to create depth within a work. We will work primarily from photographs. Various mediums are welcomed, including oil or acrylic paint, watercolor, or pastel.
