She has a B.S. degree in conservation biology from UNCW and has been working as an environmental educator for the last decade. Her passion for composting is rooted in a deep appreciation for the environment and an interest in gardening. When she isn’t teaching about the wonders of decomposition, Sara enjoys birding, thrifting, and arts and crafts.In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, NC State University will honor requests for reasonable accommodations made by individuals with disabilities.
