Are you looking for an outdoor adventure while giving back to the community? Join Champlain Area Trails for a Friday Working Hike on the High Point Trail. This beautiful, short loop in Willsboro Point, New York, leads through a short thicket and into open, mature woods. Expect to walk up to 2.5 miles. This is considered an easy trail.
During this working hike, we will engage in trail maintenance activities such as lopping, hand sawing, string-trimming, and cleaning up the trail, making it safer and more enjoyable for all hikers. This is an excellent opportunity to enjoy the fresh air, meet fellow outdoor enthusiasts, and contribute to preserving this fantastic community trail.
WHAT TO BRING:
- Tools: Champlain Area Trails will provide loppers, and hand saws but feel free to bring your own tools if you prefer.
- Safety Gear: Bring gloves and protective eyewear (if using a string trimmer).
