Yoga Nidra is a practice of conscious relaxation in which the body rests deeply while awareness remains awake.
Yoga Nidra was developed by Swami Satyananda Saraswati of the Swami Sivananda Lineage on the banks of the Ganges River in Rishikesh.

It is not understood as ordinary sleep, but as a state of profound inner stillness often described as dynamic sleep.
Its authentic aim is not only rest, but the gradual harmonizing of body, mind, emotions and deeper consciousness through relaxed awareness.
This guidance includes the affirmations of Sankalpa, or one’s own personal manifestation of deepest Spiritual Intentions and Resolve.
 
This class is THE traditional experience, straight from it’s source, to help release accumulated tension, settle the nervous system, and invite deep physical, mental and emotional ease.
Practiced lying down in comfort, Yoga Nidra becomes a powerful doorway into inner quiet, steady presence and true restoration.
We are more than blessed to receive this authentic offering by Swami Yatidharmananda, direct devotee and personal assistant to Sri Swami Chidanandaji Maharaj for authentic Yogic Teachings in modern times. This is a beautiful space to slow down, reset, and receive.
