Many Online Yoga Certifications came out of the woodwork during the pandemic - but they may not serve you if you actually want to be hired to teach yoga.
Studios, Gyms and Students themselves will not hire people who haven't had in-depth and in-person learning with an experienced teacher. If you want to authentically share this practice, you must consider a more established Teacher Training program.
Yoga is traditionally passed on from teacher to student via a relationship that customizes the experience for you and your life, so that becoming certified is not just a 'title', but a life-altering experience.
So many people now are looking for the fast track and the easy way to obtain a certificate, without taking the actual time or effort needed for authenticity. And it shows.
Also - many 'Online' programs are a series of recorded videos. You are left on your own to attempt to learn and not able to ask questions. Many times, the tuition money is just lost. You may a certificate in hand, but you are not prepared to teach a class. That is why it costs so little.
