The matriarchal world of The Keepers is ruled by queens and home to witches whose magic is not trusted—let’s celebrate both!

Come in costume, wearing your favorite cloak to show your coven affiliation or a crown to stand with the queens (and, come on, who doesn’t want an excuse to wear a crown?)

Best of each costume (one witch, one royal) will win themed prizes from The Keepers!

1pm: Mix and mingle with witches, queens, and readers — enjoy cake and great company

1.30pm: Author Sarah Goehrke will be joined in conversation with Ohio author Chelsea Banning to talk about The Keepers, book one of the larger Turners Saga, and the creation of a matriarchal world of magic and politics; publishing with a small press; cats; and more!

2.15pm: Costume contest winners announced! Best crown/queen costume and best coven/witch ensemble will each win prizes! Additional giveaways will include art prints with stunning character art by Kristina Gehrmann.

2.30-3pm, Sarah will be available to sign books and talk with readers
