Players will be paired against opponents with similar records each round. You are not eliminated after a loss, so all players should be able to play all 3 scheduled rounds. Each round will be one game. After 3 rounds, final standings will determine 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. If there are multiple players tied for first place, the tournament organizer may run one additional tie-breaking round between the top players to determine the final winner. What to Bring Players should bring a legal Sorcery: Contested Realm Constructed deck. Each player should bring: 1 Avatar A Spellbook of at least 60 spell cards An Atlas of at least 30 site cards A Collection of up to 10 cards, if used Any tokens, dice, counters, playmat, grid, or other materials needed to play Constructed Deck Rules This event will use the current Sorcery: Contested Realm Constructed rules. Rarity copy limits apply: Ordinary: up to 4 copies Exceptional: up to 3 copies Elite: up to 2 copies Unique: up to 1 copy Prizing Prize support will be awarded by final placement: 1st Place: 4 booster packs 2nd Place: 2 booster packs 3rd Place: 1 booster pack Final standings will be determined after the 3 Swiss-style rounds, with a possible tie-breaking round for first place only if needed. New Players Welcome Newer Sorcery players are welcome, but this is a Constructed event, so players should bring a complete legal deck. This is one of our first Sorcery events, and the goal is to have fun, play multiple rounds, and see how much local interest there is for future tournaments, casual play nights, and drafts.
