Responsible Beverage Server Training

Join the Williston Police Department and the Upper Missouri District Health Unit for our monthly FREE Responsible Beverage Server (RBS) Training. No registration is required, this is a walk-in training.

RBS is designed to educate owners, managers, servers, and sellers at alcohol establishments on strategies to prevent the illegal sale of alcohol to underage individuals and intoxicated customers. The City of Williston requires all alcohol servers to complete approved server training within ninety (90) days of employment. Liquor establishment managers must maintain a copy of each employee’s RBS card on file at the establishment, along with the employee’s date of hire.

Certification earned through this course is valid for three (3) years from the date of training.

Bonus: Narcan training is included. Attendees will receive Narcan and learn how to recognize and respond to an overdose emergency.

All training sessions are held from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM in the 3rd-floor training room of the Williams County Administration Building (206 E Broadway). RBS training is offered on the last Tuesday of every month at the same time and location.
