- **Event Name**: Carnivorous Plants

- **Event Description**: This program is open to people of all ages and will focus on carnivorous plants.  Despite being stationary, some species of plants have various adaptations that attract bugs to part of their structure that contains digestive juices.
	This program will begin inside and conclude with an outdoor portion.  Participants will learn about the various carnivorous plants found across New York State and their various adaptations.  At the end of this program, a guided walk in search of carnivorous plants will take place.   In addition, attendees may choose to take home free Norway spruce or red oak saplings, while supplies last.
	This program offers a unique opportunity to learn about plants less commonly seen.  The program fee is $4.00 per person and up to $12.00 per family.
