Have you thought about your farm’s legacy? Do you have a plan to ensure it stays in the right hands?
Succession planning is a topic many of our members are eager to learn more about. We understand that having those tough conversations about the future of your farm while maintaining family harmony can be challenging. But where do you start?
We invite you to Iowa Farm Bureau’s Take Root Program, hosted by the Iowa County Farm Bureau. This workshop is free for members and offers a fresh approach to farm succession and business planning. It’s the start of a journey to help you develop a long-term plan for your farming operation, whether you’re a seasoned farmer or just starting out.
Join us on Wednesday, Feb. 25, 6:00 p.m. at the Iowa County Farm Bureau, 212 West State St, Williamsburg, IA 52361. Supper will be provided.
At this event, you’ll hear success stories and develop strategies to secure your farm for future generations. You’ll also engage in open dialogue to guide you step-by-step through the succession planning process. This workshop is designed for all generations involved in the farm, and we strongly encourage generations to attend together.
