Join sound healer and RYT Payal Vora for a gentle, creative henna experience designed for women to connect, create, and unwind together. This mindful, hands-on workshop blends the art of henna with principles of meditation, breath awareness, and intentional rest.
You’ll learn the basics of henna, including how to make and fill a cone, which materials to use, and simple design techniques. Payal will guide you step-by-step in creating easy, beautiful patterns, apply a simple henna design on your hand, and invite you to explore your own designs in a supportive, relaxed setting. No experience needed—just come as you are.
As you work with henna, the slow, rhythmic application becomes a form of moving meditation. Attention naturally settles into the present moment, quieting mental chatter and cultivating calm. Gentle breath awareness will be encouraged as you create, allowing each line and curve to flow in harmony with your breath—similar to pranayama in yoga practice.
Once the henna is applied, you’ll be invited into a period of rest and reflection while it dries. This quiet pause offers space for meditation, journaling, or simply being—much like Savasana—allowing the experience to fully integrate. Please be mindful of the clothing you choose to wear to the workshop and refrain from wearing white or any other articles that you don’t want to accidentally damage.
