2️⃣ Veterinary professionals who want to volunteer as mentors, guides, or hands-on educators
NAVC and blendVET® Foundation are joining forces once again to open doors for future veterinary professionals through the Believe and Belong in Veterinary Medicine® Youth Pathways Program—a full-day, hands-on career exploration experience designed to inspire, educate, and empower the next generation.
Since partnering with blendVET® in 2023, NAVC’s support has helped more than 1,000 students participate in immersive learning labs, meet real veterinary mentors, and discover careers they never knew existed. And now, we’re bringing this transformative program to VMX 2026!
This event is free for students thanks to the generous support of NAVC.

Date: January 20, 2026
Time: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM EST
Cost: Free for enrolled students (ages 12–17)
Parent/guardian enrollment is required by December 20, 2025.
For Students (Ages 12–17)
Students will:
✨ Participate in hands-on veterinary learning activities
✨ Explore real career paths across veterinary medicine and animal science
✨ Meet and learn from veterinarians, technicians, and industry experts
✨ Build confidence and discover where they belong in veterinary medicine
No prior experience is needed—just curiosity, interest in animals, and a willingness to learn!
For Veterinary Professional Volunteers
We’re seeking veterinarians, technicians, assistants, and industry leaders who want to:
💙 Mentor and guide students
🔬 Support hands-on learning labs
🐾 Share what they love about their profession
🌱 Help build a more inclusive and inspired future for veterinary medicine
Volunteers may select half-day or full-day availability.
