2025 "Rockin Retro" Christmas Parade, Presented by Colony Point Creative & Iron, Wood & Glitter

🎄It’s time to rock and rewind the clock this holiday season! The Greater Williamsburg Chamber of Commerce (GWCC) is thrilled to announce 2025 "Rockin Retro Christmas" Christmas Parade presented by Colony Point Creative, & Iron, Wood & Glitter. This beloved annual tradition, which brings together the community in a dazzling display of holiday spirit, will illuminate the streets of Williamsburg on Sunday, December 7th, 2025, starting at 5:00 PM.

✨Following last year's attendance of over 18,000 spectators, the GWCC anticipates another spectacular turnout. The parade not only provides cherished memories for families but also delivers a significant boost to the local economy. Last year, visitor spending during the parade weekend contributed 20% of total spending in the area, with 37% of that visitor spending directed to local businesses. Notably, restaurants saw a 28% increase in spending compared to the prior four weeks, highlighting the parade's positive economic ripple effect.

❄️This year's theme invites parade units and groups to journey through the decades, choosing their favorite era – from the fabulous 50s to the neon 90s – and interpreting it with festive, illuminated decorations. Spectators can expect a vibrant showcase of Christmastime nostalgia, as floats adorned with everything from poodle skirts and jukeboxes to disco balls and leg warmers light up the early evening sky.
