WLFN Community,
Join us for a series of Community Engagement Sessions with the Economic Development team as we begin work on our 5-Year Economic Strategic Plan. This is your opportunity to have a real voice in how our Nation grows, invests, and creates opportunities for future generations.
We want to hear from community members, Elders, youth, and families about what matters most to you! Your knowledge, experiences, and perspectives will directly inform decisions that will guide economic development over the next 5 years.
During the session, we’ll be discussing themes such as:
• What makes our community unique and strong
• Economic opportunities and challenges we face today
• How development can reflect our cultural values and respect for the land
• Supports needed for children and grandchildren to succeed
• The role of partnerships and entrepreneurship
• What success looks like for our Nation in the years ahead
A community survey will be provided, covering many of these topics, and there will be space for open discussion, reflection, and sharing.
