## What Kinds of Play Experiences Are Offered

### **Trading Card Game (TCG) – “Discover Lab”**

Play Lab uses a modular, step-by-step system to introduce the TCG: ([Pokémon Play][1])

1. **Poké Catch**

   * Very basic. You “catch” Pokémon to learn about card types, Energy, etc. 
   * Short duration (5–10 min) for brand-new players. 

2. **Catch & Attack**

   * Introduces battling mechanics, like turn order and basic Pokémon. 
   * Slightly longer, for players who have grasped the basics.

3. **30-Card Demo Deck Battle**

   * Uses simplified demo decks (half-sized)
   * Teaches more advanced mechanics: Abilities, more complex actions like “search deck.”
   * Longer — about 20–30 minutes.
   * Gets players ready to join the full TCG experience

* **Pokémon Scarlet & Violet** **Pokémon Legends Z-A**

  * Beginners can learn the basics; more experienced players can challenge “Professors” to battles.
  * Trade with other players for your favorite Pokémon!

  * Learn co-op gameplay, battle mechanics; there are sessions for both new and experienced players.
