What started as a conversation has now turned into something even bigger — a 5-Point, countywide, multi-site food distribution reaching all five regions of Luzerne County just before Christmas.

They say closed mouths don’t get fed. When I opened my mouth and said, “I want the County to run a food distribution event for the holidays,” both Romilda Crocamo and Megan Stone heard me — and they were determined to deliver.

This is what leadership and collaboration looks like.

A huge thank you to the incredible people and organizations whose work is truly centered on serving the residents of Luzerne County:
