2nd Annual "Thanks for Giving" FREE public event

I, Montie Ford, am the only one organizing this event and will not be asking for any money up front. If anyone states they are representing Catholic Social Services, this event, or myself - they are NOT! DO NOT GIVE ANYONE MONEY FOR THIS EVENT!

SANTA IS COMING to our 2nd Annual Thanks for Giving event!

Yes, you head that right! Word is that he may bring a magical reindeer too!

Santa and a magical reindeer will be coming to 91 S Franklin Street at the corner of S. Franklin and W. Northampton in the Gather Community Space/1st Presbyterian Church building beside Osterhout Free Library.

I've been told parking is free at Boscov's on the weekends.

This event is FREE and children will get to shop for the adults in their lives at our Santa shop. They will get to write a letter to Santa, see Santa and give him their letter, and then Santa will give them "Santa Bucks" to spend at the Santa shop. There will also be activities for the children to be updated as we get the information.

We are presently looking for craft vendors for the event - but, space is limited! Please reach out to me at bWZvcmQgfCBjc3NkaW9jZXNlb2ZzY3JhbnRvbiAhIG9yZw== and put "Vendor" in subject heading if you, or someone you know, may be interested. Vendors will need to provide their own tables and chairs. Deadline is Friday, September 12th at 5:00 for craft vendors. There is no up front fee for vending, but - if you are blessed with business at the event - we would welcome a donation. The donations will be used to purchase items our families in need can't get with SNAP or from food banks - such as toilet paper, paper towels, paper plates, disposable utensils, foil, and the likes for holiday time.
