Over the last year, we've led 36 rides, 28 workshops, and taught over 30 people to learn to ride. We want to celebrate your success by bringing as many of us together as possible for a series of rides suited to all abilities. Bikes will be available to borrow if you don't have your own, and everyone from complete beginners to seasoned cyclists is welcome. We'll all meet together after a ride to share stories and food.Beginner riders can borrow one of our folding bikes to practice their new skills along traffic free paths by the river. More experienced cyclists can enjoy a longer route on cycle paths and quiet roads. The event is open to all women and non-binary folk, and will suit all abilities. We ride at the pace of the slowest rider, stop for breaks whenever you want and promise you will never be alone at the back!Meet us in the car park of St Wilfrid's Church in Wilford: it's just over the other side of Wilford Toll Bridge in Wilford village. The nearest tram stop is Wilford Village, and free parking is available on site. If you'd like to contribute anything for the table, you'd be very welcome! We've booked the church hall, so if it's raining we can keep dry inside, but there is a lovely outside space if it's sunny.This ride is organised by Women in Tandem, a Community Interest Company based in Nottingham that aims to support and empower women to ride bikes.
