The 5th Annual Mountain Bucks Scouting Camp will be packed with information and real-world scouting to help you become a better hunter.
About this Event2026 Mountain Bucks Scouting Camp
Mountain Bucks Scouting Camp is a 2-day, in-depth scouting camp hosted in Elk County, Pennsylvania, along the Clarion River — classic big woods, Appalachian mountain country.
This camp blends classroom-style breakdowns with boots-on-the-ground scouting to help you consistently locate mature bucks and build real, repeatable game plans. You’ll spend time learning concepts, then immediately applying them in the terrain where they matter.
Join Beau Martonik alongside other seasoned big woods hunters for an interactive, no-BS weekend built around the same conversations that happen at a real deer camp.
Topics Will Include:- Map reading and e-scouting
- Big woods buck bedding
- Food source identification
- Seasonal scouting strategies
- Trail camera placement and data use
- Wind and thermal demonstrations
- Creating formal hunting plans
- Tree selection and setup strategy
- And much more
Our goal is to give you the knowledge, framework, and confidence to leave camp with a clear plan — not just information.
Hands-On, Real-World LearningThis isn’t a sit-and-listen event.
You’ll:
- Get hands-on with gear and learn how to actually use it
- Have the opportunity to try a saddle hunting setup
- Spend significant time scouting in real terrain
- Learn directly from hunters who consistently get it done in big woods environments
Exclusive deals, free swag, and major gear giveaways will be available for attendees.
Deer Camp CultureMountain Bucks Scouting Camp is built around deer camp values:
- Shared meals
- Hard days in the woods
- Honest conversations
- Learning from each other
The last four camps sold out quickly and were a huge success. This year, we’re continuing what we started — two full days, multiple experienced hunters teaching, more scouting, more giveaways, chef-cooked meals, and more time around camp.
