Join us for a fun, relaxed social session designed especially for children aged 5 to 11 with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
This small group is all about games, crafts, creativity, and connection — with staff on hand to support each child and ensure they feel safe, included, and happy.
🧠 These sessions are participant-led, meaning we follow the children’s interests and ideas to shape the activities.
🎟️ This is not a karate class — just a chance to play, explore, make friends, and enjoy supported social time.
ℹ️ Key Info:
🧒 Ages: 5–11 (we alternate with a separate group for ages 11–14 — check our page for updates)
📍 Location: Black Scorpion Karate, Pemberton, Wigan
💰 Cost: Free – funded through Wigan Council’s Short Breaks offer
👥 Limited to 10 places per session
📝 We’ll contact you before the session to complete a One Page Profile to help us understand how to support your child

Unfortunately, we are not able to provide personal care
There are two steps at the venue entrance (please contact us to discuss access needs)
