X-Friends waren 10 Jahre die Begleitband von Josip „Gonzo“ Krolo.

X-Friends stehen für handwerklich und künstlerisch hochwertige Covermusik, der in jedem
Takt anzumerken ist, dass Komponisten und Songwriter am Werk sind, die zwar „nachspielen“,
aber ihr komplettes künstlerisches Potential einbringen, unterhaltsam, mit Tiefgang, nie banal.

Das dokumentieren auch die zahlreichen hochkarätigen Gäste, mit denen die Band immer
wieder auftritt (Sydney Youngblood, Dante Thomas, Lisa Bund, David Hanselmann, Rolf
Stahlhofen, Christian Herzberger u.vm.).

Harald Schneck: keys, bass, voc (u.a.Marius Müller-Westernhagen, Six Was Nine, Produzent
von Harald Juhnke, Jule Neigel u.v.m.),

Fabian Michel: guit. voc (Bro‘Sis, No Angels, Jennifer Rush, Dj Bobo, Karel Gott,The Busters)
und

Stefan Breuer: dr (Bro‘Sis, No Angels, Vanilla Ninja, Schramme11, The Busters) waren das
ideale Fundament für die manchmal exzentrischen, immer eindrucksvollen Darbietungen und
musikalischen Ideen des Ausnahmesängers Gonzo.

Der Newcomer in der Band, Michael Breitschopf, konnte bei „Jugend Musiziert“, mit seinem
„Duo Tirando“ und als Solo- Künstler erste Meriten als Fingerpicking-Spezialist auf der
Akustischen Gitarre und am Gesang einheimsen.
