Wargasm, 2019 in London gegründet ist eine Band, die sich nur schwer eindeutig bestimmten Genres zuordnen lässt. In einem wilden Parforceritt vermischt das, nun ja, sagen wir: NuMetal/Electropunk-Duo um Bassistin und Sängerin Milkie Way und Gitarrist Sam Matlock so ziemlich alles zwischen besagtem NuMetal, Post-Hardcore, EDM und HipHop. Das Gute dabei: es funktioniert erstaunlich gut und entwickelt insbesondere live eine nachgerade kinetische Energie. 
Trivia 1: Wargasm nannten Bands wie L7, Limp Bizkit, Loathe, Shvpes und Poppy als Einflüssse. Trivia 2: Ex-Dead!-Gitarrist Sam Matlock ist der Sohn des Sex-Pistols-Bassisten Glen Matlock. Darüber hinaus war Ser einer der Autoren des Liedes "Doomsday Blu"e von Bambie Thug, dem irischen Beitrag zum Eurovision Song Contest 2024. Das soll unserer Begeisterung aber keinen Abbruch tun. Laibach etwa hätten schließlich auch fast den Eurovisions-Beitrag für Slowenien in diesem Jahr zur Aufführung gebracht. Aber wir schweifen ab. Wargasm selbst bezeichnen ihre Musik jedenfalls aus guten Gründen als "Angry Songs For Sad People".
