Heuer lautet das Motto: „Swingin‘ At Newport“. Das Jazz-Festival rundet damit die in der Jubiläums-Saison 2024/25 anlässlich „10 Jahre THE STORY OF JAZZ“ gespielten „Glorious Days of Jazz“ mit einer Verbeugung vor dem Urvater aller Jazz-Festivals, dem Newport Jazz Festival, ab.

An 4 Spieltagen werden 12 Bands, zusammengestellt aus mehr als 16 international tätigen Musikerinnen und Musikern an die 100 Meisterstücke zum Besten geben, die Newport im Lauf von 70 Jahren zu einer Institution gemacht haben. Besonderes Augenmerk widmen die aus aller Welt kommenden Protagonistinnen und Protagonisten aller Altersklassen – von Newcomern bis zu „Giants of the Scene“ – dem Gründer und am Klavier begeisternden Impresario des Newport-Jazzfestivals George Wein sowie den zig Jazz-Legenden von Louis Armstrong bis Miles Davis, die in Newport musikalische Höhepunkte gesetzt haben. Der stilistische Bogen spannt sich von New Orleans bis Cool Jazz.
