snImpro-sessions ist eine Konzertreihe für experimentelle improvisierte Musik und Klangkunst, die seit 2023 von snim-spontanes netzwerk für improvisierte musik, organisiert wird. Die Reihe versteht sich als Arbeitsfeld, in dem Musiker:innen begegnen und neue Formen musikalischer Interaktion entwickeln.
Jeder Abend beginnt mit einem Opening-Set, gespielt von Mitgliedern von snim gemeinsam mit eingeladenen Gastmusiker:innen. Dies eröffnet ein klangliches Feld und schafft einen gemeinsamen Ausgangspunkt  für die anschließende Session. Musiker:innen erproben neue Konstellationen, treten in musikalischen Austausch, Strukturen entstehen, lösen sich auf und formieren sich neu. Das Format legt Wert auf Aufmerksamkeit, Offenheit und künstlerische Freiheit. Improvisation erscheint hier als eine künstlerisch-kulturelle Praxis, die Zuhören, 
Erinnerung und das Verlangen, im Moment zu handeln, bedingt. Alle improvisierenden Musiker:innen sind eingeladen, an der Session teilzunehmen. Das Publikum spielt hierbei eine wichtige Rolle. Seine Präsenz schärft die Wahrnehmung  der Atmosphäre des Abends und ermöglicht es, Musik genau dort zu erleben, wo sie entsteht - im gegenwärtigen Moment.

snImpro-sessions is a concert series for experimental improvised music and sound art, which has been organized since 2023 by snim - spontaneous network for improvised music . The series  aims for opening a working field allowing musicians meet and develop new forms of musical interaction.
Each evening begins with an opening set performed by members of snim together with invited guest musicians. This opens up a sonic landscape and creates a starting point for the jam session. Musicians will form new constellations, engage in musical exchange, structures will emerge, dissolve, and reconstitute. The format emphasizes attentiveness, openness, and artistic freedom. Improvisation appears here as an artistic and cultural practice that encourages listening,
Memory and the desire to act in the moment are prerequisites. All improvising musicians are invited to participate in the session. The audience plays an important role here. Their presence sharpens the perception of the evening's atmosphere and makes it possible to experience music precisely where it originates – in the present moment.
