Anno 2013: Die Blues-Punk-Formation MARTA explodiert wie ein Knallfrosch am Grazer Musikhimmel. Wer es zu einer der mehr oder weniger offiziellen Shows in Clubs oder Privatkellern schafft, ist Zeuge eines flüchtigen Moments: Für kurze Zeit wird es sehr laut, verschwitzt und ungehalten in der gediegenen Landeshauptstadt. Aus einem Garagen-Experiment entsteht zunächst das Debüt “warships”. Karl Fluch (Standard) spricht eine euphorische Hörempfehlung aus, in der er MARTA als “harten Brocken” bezeichnet, “reduziert auf das Maximum”. 2015 wird mit “spaceships” nachgeliefert. MARTA wird seither als Geheimtipp gehandelt.Zehn Jahre später wird das Triangle of Rawness nun komplett gemacht. “shipwrecks” erscheint im Herbst 2024 und taucht tief hinunter, um die schlummernden, die Jahre über-dauernden Brocken zutage zu fördern.Die Köpfe hinter MARTA sind Paul Plut und Günther Paulitsch (Musik) und Julia Hager (Text). Live ist MARTA wieder als unerbittliches Duo zu hören. Ein Pflichttermin für alle Underground-Fans.
