He debuted in 2011 with the Mercury Prize-nominated "Peanut Butter Blues & Melancholy Jam" and has since released five albums, including "Shedding Skin" and "I Grow Tired But Dare Not Fall Asleep." His introspective lyrics and atmospheric soundscapes define his work. In 2020, he expanded into visual arts, exploring installation, photography, performance and sound art. Under the pseudonym Sil Electronics, she produced radically minimalistic tracks, which she published as EPs on Cheap Record (White Clouds, 1995) and legendary Finnish label Sähkö (Tal-S, 1996). Her debut album Sharing the Sunhat (1997) was highlighted by the music magazines Spex and The Wire. Further releases on tecno label Disko B (DJ Hell, Chicks on Speed) include So Easy, Hard to Practice (2003) and Emerald Stars (2006), on which she electronically reinterpreted works by the Austrian composer Hugo Wolf.
