Attend the Seed Swap + Short Talks to donate, trade and try new seeds. Native plants, veggies, herbs, annuals and perennials are all welcome at this free event. There will be short talks to guide you to success when planting from seed. There will also be local, nature based groups and Master Gardener professionals to welcome you and help you in your 2026 plant growing experience. Date: Sunday January 25, 2026 1:00 - 4:00pm - Seed Swap + Short Talks 4:30pm - Guided Nature Meditation Location: Bison Room, Sedgwick County Extension Office BRING entire seed packets, or envelopes with loose seeds (~20 seeds per envelope) marked with the COMMON and SCIENTIFIC name of the plant. Other information such as sun/shade preferences, soil type, location where collected are very helpful! If you bring bulk seeds, we will be able to help package and label them. If you don't have any seeds please feel free to come and pick up seeds - attend talks - visit with any of the plant growing allies at the event.
